Week One- Kingdom building phase: passed stability check, no edicts issued, etc. Income phase (13 build points). Event phase- beneficial supplement (+4 build points, etc)
Started building 2 farms, 1 house, and an inn.
Week Two- Isabo Carter, magistra of Silvergleam, friend of Queen Faelyn, had two goodberry saplings at the start of the game. Isabo planted the two goodberry bushes in front of what will become the inn, one on each side of the entry stairs. Then Isabo foraged for plants, and discovered goblin footprints. The party member, Dwayne, a druid, spent his week enriching the soil via plant growth spell. Dwayne is an oread that only speaks Terran because he has grown up isolated from society, so Isabo teaches him how to speak Common in her spare time because she can speak Terran.
Week 3- After discussing with the queen about the goblin footprints, the party is sent to track the prints and find the goblins. The party followed the tracks to a goblin hideout, and Isabo being the only party member to speak Goblin, asked to speak to their chief. After some fun banter, and trying to prevent Dwayne from eating the goblins, Isabo offered a peace treaty to Chief Big Boom and gave him time to think it over. She returns to the queen to discuss her diplomatic view of how to handle the goblins and make them part of the kingdom in exchange for resources. They have access to gunpowder, gems, etc. Isabo suggests that a trade route be established and that the goblins become members of the kingdom in exchange for the kingdom's protection of their existence. When Isabo and the party return to Chief Big Boom, he accepts on one condition- kill the thing that is hunting his people. The party encounters a mature adult black dragon. Isabo, who also happens to speak Draconic, tries to compromise with the dragon. The black dragon refuses and a battle ensues. When the paladin, Lars, deals the final blow, Isabo steps in and uses a masterworked boline to harvest body parts of the dragon and preserves them with her skill in alchemy.
Week 4- The goblins tell them they are being menanced by ogres and would like the kingdom's protection. The party goes exploring to find the ogres, but instead finds a haunt. Isabo dispelled the fog of the haunt, which revealed a unit of undead led by an undead dragon. Dwayne shifted into a huge earth elemental when the undead hurt his animal companion, a lion named Dembi. After the battle, Isabo harvested and preserved some ectoplasm, decaying bones, and decaying flesh. Then they continued to explore until they found a large lake. Dwayne shifted into a water elemental and casted speak with animals to commune with the fish. There was a very dark deep hole in the lake. After the fish talked about the mystery of it, Dwayne came to the surface and said he suspects a dragon, due to mention of a treasure hoard. Isabo, stubborn as ever, waded into the water and went just far enough to play her cave whistle underwater, as she didn't want any dragons above water to hear her. After a few minutes and lots of bubbles, a Sea Linnorm emerged. In Draconic, Isabo explained how her kingdom just established not too far away, and how she'd like to make a peace treaty that the sea linnorm not harm her people. He agreed on the condition that her people not touch the treasure he was protecting, as he had known the queen's ancestor and had been on good terms with him before the ancestor's kingdom fell. Isabo and the party returned to the queen to explain what had happened and the treaty Isabo had made.
Month 2 Week 1- kingdom building phase- passed stability check, no edict issued, etc. Income phase 13 bp. Event phase- land rush. Settlers built a mine in land not yet owned, near the goblins, so Isabo and the queen had to explain that Chief Big Boom will technically own the mine, but the settlers that created it will receive a small percentage, as stock owners. The settlers were warned not to build on land the kingdom had yet to claim.
Started claiming the land around the goblins to merge the lands, started building a road from the kingdom's settlement to the goblin settlement, started building a farm in the goblin's land to teach them to farm, and then comissioned to start building a tannery and another house in the kingdom.
That is the end of Session One.
