I sat watching the news honestly just kinda waiting for the weather report, I heard y/n moving around doing things in the rest of the flat not sure what she was up to but I'm sure if she need anything she'll yell me. I saw our cat Cosmo making his way across the coffee table perching himself close to me and meowing

so I meowed back

He meowed turning his head 

So I turned my head and meowed back

"Isaac? What are you doing?" Y/n asks as she came through with a basket of laundry

"Talking to the cat" 

"He can't understand you" she laughed loading the washer 

"So? Doesn't mean we can't have a conversation, right Cosmo?"

And he meowed

"Silly boys" she laughed setting the machine and throwing the basket down, "in gonna go take a shower"

"Okay baby"

"Did you want to join me?' she Cooes leaning on the kitchen counter 

For a moment I wasn't sure if she was serious "really?"

"Ummm humm" she nods 

I woke to the usual sound, so I sat up in bed rubbing my eyes and grabbing my glasses from the side "good morning beautiful" I cooed looking at y/n as she put hairspring her hair already dressed for the day

"Good morning, what are you doing up so early?"

"I wanted to see you off" I smiled as she came over

"That's very sweet Isaac" she Cooes giving me a soft sweet kiss 

"Have a nice day at work"

"I'll do my best. Have a nice day here"

"I'll try, I love you"

"Love you too" she smiled before grabbing her bag and heading out and off to work.

As soon as she was gone I laid back in bed contemplating what I would do with my day. 

I forced myself up heading to the bedroom I brushed my teeth and had a hot shower soon returning to the bedroom slipping my clothes on for the day and heading down into our apartment I tidied up, did the dishes, did the laundry, did some vacuuming, cleaned up the bathroom and kitchen and added a few things to the shopping list for tomorrow I wanted to make sure given she was working so hard that she’d come home to a nice clean and tidy house with no list of tasks to do. It's the least I can do with her working every day is give her a nice house with no jobs so she can just come home and relax. And Of course we could just have our nice dinner and cuddle up together. 

I started on dinner and soon enough I heard the door so I happily went over and pulled her into my arms 

“Ohhh Hi isaac”

“Hi” I smiled, giving her a kiss “How was your day?”

“Ughh” she sighed putting her bag down “I don’t wanna talk about it”

“Alright you don’t need to talk about it if you don’t want to,” I smiled. “Dinners on, Laundry’s done, the house is clean and sorted so all my little cupcake can just melt on the sofa with true crime shows?” 

“Your the sweetest thing in the world, I love you so much”

I was so angry! I wandered around our house for the sixteenth time today going and checking the sofa, checking the table, the windowsill, the mantle going to the porch and checking everywhere possible, I checked all through the kitchen and all through the laundry room. I had turned this damn house upside down looking for them but still, I can't find them, I can't even remember where I left them.

"Hello Isaac" y/n smiled as she hurried down the stairs having had her shower and got dressed going into the kitchen to make her usual cup of tea

"Hello, dear,"

"Rearranging I see?" she giggled having seen everything I had done in my search

"No" I sighed "You haven't seen them have you?"

"seen what?" she asked

"My glasses"

"Your glasses?"

"Yeah I've turned the house upside down looking for them but I can't find them"

"Isaac" she giggled

"what?"

"Isaac. you're wearing your glasses" she giggled

"What?"

"you're wearing your glasses Isaac" she giggles taking my glasses off my face giving my nose a kiss and then returning my glasses for me "Better now?"

"Yes. thank you, dear"

I sat with a wide smile seeing her so happy, little Lizzy sat on the floor surrounded by the various ripped paper having opened all her birthday presents and getting to her last one ripping open the bright pink paper off the large cream box revealing the plastic window and the doll within. She was deathly pale, with little pink pigtails in a long pink dress her strange unblinking eyes… made me want to kick it away. 

“Awwwww a pretty Penelope dolly!” Lizzy smiled ripping the box open to get at the doll "thank you!" She smiled happily bringing it to me "look daddy look a pretty Penelope dolly"

"Yes sweetheart very nice" I told her giving her a cuddle

"Do you agree?" I asked y/n as we sat in bed her doing some knitting

"What?" She giggled

"That doll is creepy?"

"All dolls are a little creepy Isaac"

"Yeah but.... Like. That doll."

"It's a little spooky but she adores the show"

"I know. The doll just gives me the creeps"

"I'm sure it's fine you know what she's like two weeks she'd have moved on to something else and that doll will be burried in her closet"

"Your right. How's little one doing?' I asked stroking her belly

"Fine giving me alot of morning sickness"

"Well maybe it's another girl Lizzy made you sick constantly"

"Perhaps. I thought you wanted a boy?"

"I don't care so long as we get an adorable little baby"

"Mummy, daddy" her little voice Cooes at our door so we turned and saw Lizzy stood with her creepy doll

"Hi sweetie'

"I had a nightmare can I sleep with you"

"Oh of course" I smiled helping her into bed even if I wanted that doll as far away from me as possible no matter where I sat in bed that doll was looking at me with those strange glossy eyes y/n felt I was uncomfortable so moved the doll over to her side with Lizzy between us, I cradled both of them in my arms as we got some sleep but I woke up to a horrific sound y/n was choking the pillow over her face o was so panicked confused how it could have happened quickly moving the pillow letting her gasp for air

"Are you okay?"

"I think so. Lizzy must have pushed the pillow or something"

"Yeah, Lizzy must - Lizzy." My panic set in again as I noticed she wasn't breathing her little pig tails plaits had wrapped around her neck as fast as I could I moved them away seeing how tight they where and have her CPR until she coughed back awake taking a deep breath "Lizzy! Darling are you okay?"

"Penelope!"

"What?"

"Penelope hurt me daddy!"

I didn't know what to think of course her doll didn't do this but at the same time I did get a weird feeling about that doll, and I love Lizzy to death she wouldn't like to me I saw the truth of what she was saying in her eyes

"Okay. Then pretty Penelope is getting a time out" I told her grabbing the doll heading to the spare bedroom throwing the doll in the wardrobe and shutting the doors putting a coat hanger thought the handles so it couldn't be opened "there she's in time out let's all get some sleep"

I sat having some breakfast toast considering weather or not to run a bath this morning when I heard a scream I bolted upstairs seeing Lizzy on the floor of her bedroom covered in bruises like she'd been thrown out her bed repeatedly

"Ohh Lizzy sweetheart are you okay?"

"Penelope pushed me!" She yelled pointing to the doll on her bed

"Did you get her out of time out?"

"She was on my bed when I got home" she says

I know I didn't get the doll out and I doubt y/n would have

"Okay, well if she's been pushing you she's going in another time out" I said grabbing the doll and taking it this time to the kitchen locking it in the pantry cupboard will the snacks y/n can't eat while she's pregnant sitting the padlock on it "there all safe"

I finished up my shower grabbing my towel as I climbed out but the moment I stepped on the floor o heard a scream so I bolted into our bedroom seeing y/ns hair caught in the desk fan trying to drag her in or even scalp her I quickly unplugged it and rushed over

"Are you okay!"

"Yeah I must have just... My chair feel back as I was doing my hair" she says

"Well atleast your alright darling" I smiled giving her a kiss but I heard another scream so we both rushed to Lizzy's room where a fire had been started in her little bin and her tied to the bed by her scarf

I quickly put the fire out and y/n untied Lizzy

"What happened?"

"Penelope!" She screamed between tears pointing to the door where the doll sat

I was baffled thinking how on earth a doll could do this but then again how could Lizzy have done this on her own

"I locked her in the pantry did you get the doll out?" I asked y/n

"No. Did you?"

"No. Lizzy did you get Penelope out of time out?"

"No daddy I didn't!"

"Okay. I don't know what is going on but I'm not taking any chances" I grabbed the doll and headed outside seeing the binmen just a few houses down I stuffed the doll in the top of our bin and waited with my hand on the lid at all times till they took it pouring it and crushing it in the lorry I waited till I drove away and headed inside promising to buy her a new toy at the shops today

I stood cuddling and kissing my beautiful wife as she cooked dinner

"Ummm I love you so much'

"Awww I love you too Isaac" she smiled before she turned to get something from the fridge but she screamed I looked and saw on the kitchen floor stood the pretty Penelope doll

"Did you buy her a new one?'

"No. Did you?"

"Nope."

"I'm pretty Penelope I love you!" The doll plaid

"I didn't think it could talk'

"It can't."

"Hell no!" I grabbed the doll and immediately took it outside to the BBQ I didn't stop till that doll was ash "next time I get a weird feeling about a toy. We burn it. Agreed"

I did my best to keep my composure after the madness that was today, paperwork got damaged, my boss got mad, the clients left, and I hadn't even been paid for my time again. Didn't help the world outside was a harsh dark grey, swapping between different degrees of raining, the wind battering everything it could whistling thought you and turning you inside out, and of course making it no condition to use an umbrella to protect from the rains. And just as a cherry on the cupcake of this day the trains are delayed due to striking action. I felt my phone go off so I glanced to it seeing the message

Isaac X:

Hey buttercup, just checking what time your going to be home? He's not making you stay late again he?

I smiled a little he's such a sweetie, I told him everything that had happened today and the estimated time I would be home and he quickly messaged back

Isaac X:

Ohh my poor little buttercup, it's okay I'll be here waiting for you to get home xxx

I giggled a little a returned my phone to my pocket as at last I reached my stop so I rushed of onto the platform trying my best just to get home after this long day, and just as I got outside the rain got worse drenching me, I did try to use my umbrella but one gust to many and it broke in about seven places. So I just did my best to get home as quickly as possible.

My clothes and hair soaked my feel drenched in my shoes where I couldn't avoid puddles as none of the drains where actually draining, the wind battering me from all angles like being in one of those round wind tunnels crazy people indoor skydive in.

Finally I saw home so I unlocked the door and headed in kicking off my shoes into the porch and dropping my bag their too

"That you buttercup?" Isaac called from the kitchen

"No! I'm a burglar" I joked

"Ohh sorry Mr burglar, nothing of value here just lots of old uni textbooks and magic the gathering cards" he laughed as he came through drying his hands off where he clearly just did the dishes "hello buttercup" he smiled giving my cheek a kiss "uhhh did you get jumped... By nature?" He asks picking out a twig that had somehow ended up in my hair from the weather

"I feel like I did" I sighed

"Awwwww you've had a rough day haven't you?" He asks and I nod "okay, did you want to get cosy?"

"That sounds nice"

"Then I shall built the ultimate cosy for my lovely lady" he smiled "my hoodie and sweatpants are in the tumble dryer they should be good and toasty by now"

"Did you want them?"

"No silly I meant for you, go on warm your little buttercup bum up" he smiled

I giggled and headed to the kitchen seeing all the chores had already been done so I smiled stopping the tumble I threw my clothes in the laundry basket and slipped on his warm hoodie and sweatpants them immediately smelling of the sweet fabric softener,

I headed out again in an attempt to find him and immediately found the living room.

The log burner on sweetly warming the house up, the curtians and blinds drawn to keep out the dark rain, the lights on low meerly the fairy lights above the mantle and the log burner itself to light the room, the sofa had our duvet as well as some fluffy blankets set up ready to recline some snacks on the table as well as a warm tea in my favourite mug he smiled seeing me there as he had a towel in hand

"Here you go, to dry your pretty hair" he smiled wrapping it around my shoulders for me "don't want you to catch a cold" he says kissing my nose "ohh such a cold little nose!" He said in shock "I'll warm it up" he smiled giving my nose even more kisses "come on before my little buttercup freezers" he laughed tugging me to the sofa so we got cosy with our blankets and duvet reclining the sofa as we had our tea he wrapped his arm around me Letting us cuddle together closely "you wanna watch crime documents?"

"Yes please" I smiled

"Okay, and no worries about dinner I'll order us delivery in a bit okay?"

"Your sure?"

"Of course I am, I know you've had a rough day I can't do much about your dumbass boss or the weather but I can do... Little things like this"

"Umm the little things make it all better Isaac"

"Yeah?"

"Umm" I nodded nuzzling close to him

"Good, I like making my buttercup happy. I love you very much" he Cooes

"I love you too Isaac" I smiled hugging him tightly

I smiled as I sat in bed with my book getting cosy with my blanket and teacup, I heard the bathroom door creak open so I glanced up and had to hold back my giggles

"Hello My little angel" Isaac smirked as he leant on the door frame his hair a little beheaded where he clearly tried to make it look stylish but it just looked like he'd just woke up from a nap, his skin bare completely other than the pair of red tight elastic boxers with green waistband and lining "You ready for some... festive fun" He smirked

"Isaac what are you doing?" I asked

"I'm insisting you for some lovely Christmas smut" He suggested

"You wanna have sex?"

"Well yeah, but can't we have a little fun with it? as it's Christmas" He says

"Alright" I sighed putting my book down

"Maybe you could wear your little red dress?" he suggested getting on the bed with me

"No Issac, I'm wearing that for the office party next week," I said

"Oh... well then maybe you could wear the white dress and really be my little angel" He smirked stroking my leg

"Isaac. I'm not dressing like an angel for sexy time"

"why not? can't we be festive?"

"I know how we can be festive" I smiled "Keep them closed"

"Alright" He smirked keeping his eyes closed I got up and ran to the hall grabbing the tinsel that was around our stairwell and going back to bed I smirked and gave him a little kiss grabbing his arm and pinning it to the bedpost wrapping him up with tinsel "Angel? are you gonna... tie me up with tinsel?" he smirked "gonna get Christmas kinky in here" he smirked

"Very much so" I smirked giving him a kiss as I looped it around tieing him up with the glittering red tinsel once I was done with that I went to the box under our bed getting my riding crop and smirking at him "Have you been a very naughty boy Isaac?"

"Ooooohh yes I have my little angel. I've been a very naughty boy... but something tells me that it's not coal your going to be giving me this year" He smirked opening his legs as wide as possible

"No I think you should get a much more intense punishment for how naughty of a boy you've been" I smirked crawling close to him and giving his neck a few little kisses

"I was a very naughty boy this year, I do deserve my sexy little angel punishing me" he smirked

"Don't be too loud Isaac I know what you get like" I smirked

"well maybe don't be so mean to me"
