Okay I have absolutely no idea who this anon is but like, thanks for caring about my well being this much…I think😭

Unfortunately I don’t have much choice on what brain decides to hyperfixate. It just kinda happens and I have to stick with it lol. Last year it was the Super Mario Bros movie. The year before that it was Gnomeo and Juliet. Year before that it was Zootopia (imagine that). As of right now it’s Hazbin Hotel and I kinda hope it stays that way for a while bc oh my god I’ve spent so much fucking money on merch and cosplays for this stupid show.

At least we can clearly see Big Red’s confidence grow as he joined the theater crew. Now he puts Ricky back in his place, and that’s a turn on for Ricky as we saw with Gina.

* ”SCOFFS”. That’s right. Big Red SCOFFS at Ricky. Deservedly so. I mean, he was painting those sets so his boy would shine and now Ricky goes all Diva on him. Not worth it.

And I know that even if I’m criticizing Ricky, posting Joshua’s smile is a celebration on to itself.

And no, puppy eyes is not a valid legal defense.

Because a large portion of tumblr, through ignorance and a need to be part of something, have fetishised trans people.They see these characters either acting outside there gender roll, or god forbid, dressing up as the opposite gender and they assume this character must be and is trans. They then take every action of the character and try to make it about that. I’ve noticed it with 3 characters now and I’ve hated it every time.

First it was Chihiro from Dangonronpa who was bullied for being weak and so retreated to dressing as a girl so that people wouldn’t bully him for being a weak boy. It wasn’t about gender identity, he had a legitimate problem, a weakness complex, and needed help. In the end he wanted to tell everyone he was actually a boy but things didn’t work out for him.

Then It was Marco from StarVs. He wore a dress once to sneak into a gendered school/prison and rescue a friend. He mentioned that he liked the dress, and that was it. However tumblr fans latched onto it said nope he’s trans and started taking every little thing he did and conflating it with him transitioning. I’ve already broke my head arguing about Marco here.

Now we have Pidge. She has openly stated that she is a girl. She disguised herself as a boy in order to get into the school and not be recognized so she could find her family. However since the character was a boy in the original series and she started out disguised as a boy, the tumblr peeps gotta insist she trans. Again no where in the show is this stated, the opposite is stated, multiple times by multiple people. Pidge is a girl. If she were trans she wouldn’t want people to refer to her as girl, she wouldn’t have referred to herself as a girl. Hell she was worried they would think differently of her because she had lied to them about her gender and identity. It should have been a victory of a women being accepted just for being herself. HELL THE POINT WAS FOR HER TO BE A GIRL! Lauren Montegomery, one of the producers, was the one who insisted Pidge to be a girl to show a female character could occupy the same roll that would normally be that of a male character without any change in how the story would be told.
