one of the most interesting features of the transandrophobia terminology is that it is grounded in transmisogyny terminology. it emerged from encounters with transmisogyny theory.
one could even say "transndrophobia is grounded in transmisogyny" as a relatively value-neutral statement about the provenance of these word-things.
so then why does transandrophobia appear so often in opposition to discussion of transmisogny? or, why does it seem as if the users of the word transandrophobia are often not themselves grounded in an understanding of how transmisognyny affects our sisters?
There's a Maoist blog that's just someone roleplaying, and at first when I saw them say "Mommy" and "I'm gonna pee in your bed >:/" I thought it was some weird kink thing. Learning it's someone roleplaying as a sentient dog that growls at anons hasn't helped me understand at all.
