So I watch Alita, and I arrived to same conclusion after watching Detective Pikachu a few days ago. Live adaptations of graphic novels / comics / manga, it must stop. Itâs ugly af. Christoph Waltz with a big ass hammer ? I donât buy it one second. I wonât speak of Edward Nortonâs look in the movie...
Same for PokĂŠmon, for some of them it looks fine, like Pikachu, but for other like ninja frogs thing... not so much. And I donât want to see Mewtwo speaking ever again.
And honestly after Into The Spider-Verse and Spielbergâs Tintin I donât know what Hollywood is waiting for, live action is clearly not the way to go here.
