“Non-pastels be like that”

“Be like what, aggressive because you don’t wanna show softness? Like that?”

“Well...I’m not always like that-”

“So what, you’re just like that with my brother? You think he’s not gonna like us even living together? Because normally that wouldn’t be true but the more you do this the more right you may be.”

“It’s not Derek. It’s the other one. There’s just, something about him that makes me feel weird. I don’t like it. Like I don’t even try to go after Derek, but the other one, just...I don’t know what’s with him.”

“Hmmm...okay that seems more forgivable, because he does have a pretty odd vibe when I see him, but why do you always fight him when you see him?”

“I’m gonna be honest with you chief, I never remember the inbetween bit, I would say it’s a darkblood thing, but my blood isn’t dark enough, but maybe it’s just a thing that happens the darker your blood is, but like yeah, I barely remember what happens, which probably isn’t good.”

“...yeah you may need help.”

“Isn’t this why you moved in?”

“...that too. Hey uh Damien? Can you stay here for a sec? I gotta go call someone.”

“Yeah sure I’ll wait here, not like I can go anywhere because I can’t feel my leg, but yeah okay”
