This drawing was inspired by a fic from @tmnt-imagines called Drunk in love, It is a cute fic, you should check it out.
It’s actually a self insert fic but for me the only way to read some Irmatello content is to just read self insert and think of Irma as the protagonist.
Anyway I wanted to capture this bittersweet moment. I kept thinking about it after reading it and I just had to draw it. I know I still have pending request, I just wanted to draw something for myself

Reasons why 2012 IrmaxDonnie ..
Would work aaand is cute af:
- Height differences !!
-They are both interested in science and they would enjoy having someone to talk about those subjects. Also Irma would hang out in his lab so much. And she would do her best to help him with his experiments or research.
-Both relating to each other about having their heads targeted to attacks frequently (the Irma bots and kraang suprime suit always get hited in the head.. sometimes the head explotes or gets stabbed too…and I feel human Irma would get a little offended when that happens )
-they would enjoy talking shit about Casey together.
-I feel Irma would fangirl a little every time Don shows one of his inventions (specially metalhead) she would certainly admire Donnie for his intelligent and ressourcement (is that the word?) . Cause seriously he build a fucking robot and nobody bats an eye in the show.
-they would have great dynamic! Irma could help so much from Donnie’s computer or from inside the turtle van and talking with a communicator with Donnie .
*Or even her controlling metalhead from the lair ! Wouldn’t make so much sense!?Since she doesn’t have powers or ninja skills.

You know all shipping aside
I think Irma would have appreciated Donnie the most. They could have been great friends for each other. Whenever she was on screen she was ignored, insulted (by Casey) and sometimes ditched by her own best friend without a good excuse. And her character gets constantly decapitated even when she is on the good guys side... so fuck this show ... And we all know how under appreciated Don was (specially in this adaptation god dammit) If someone knows how it feels to be under appreciated is definitely this two. I don't just wanted Irma back for the sake of a ship, I wanted her back to see two characters that I really like meet someone with similar struggles, someone who can understand them and appreciate each other and share their interest together. To have a different kind of friendship that we don't see in this show .
