usually he wouldn’t attend a club event if he didn’t have to; him being afraid of the disruptive and intoxicated patrons of the club didn’t help either. he was sitting at the bar, fingers rimming the glass of rum that was purchased moments earlier. the music wasn’t as good tonight, too. not to try and sound cocky, but the music is always better when he’s on stage. he wasn’t talking much, either. just downing a bunch of drinks, secluded from the crowd of people. he only came here to find some drunken inspiration, some downtime before he was back in the studio for his next mixtape. but after four or five drinks, he was gone. lost in his own daydreams.
hyunwoo was in the middle of the dance floor, the place he was reluctant to be several minutes ago, but he was dancing along to the crappy music he made fun of earlier (and dancing with girls, too). probably an out-of-body experience for him to be acting up this way. he was having fun to the best of his wasted ability, socializing with the two females around him. they were fans of his, and were surprised at how laidback and funny he was, but then again, he was equally as shocked. after a few fits of dancing and a couple of drinks later, hyunwoo greeted the girls goodbye, heading towards the nearest exit.
he didn’t remember how he got here. taxi? bus? did a friend drop him off? questions left unanswered as he trailed up the stairs and out to the streets of hongdae. he wasn’t even coherent enough to dial a friend’s number, let alone remember a taxi service’s. there was a raven haired female walking in front of him, pulling out a pair of car keys. she flagged him down, making sure he was able to walk before getting him near her car. “you..” he hiccups, falling into her grasp. “help me... please...”
