“Go Green” This Weekend
Boston and New York City may be famous for their rowdy St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, and Chicago for turning its river green. But we can all have fun today and this weekend wearing all our greenest finery and perhaps enjoying some corned beef & cabbage and Irish soda bread.
And when you do meet with family and friends, here are some cheerful words to share from the Irish, who have such a way with words.
* May the leprechauns be near you, to spread luck along the way. And may all the Irish angels smile upon you St. Patrick’s Day.
* May the hinges of our friendship never grow rusty.
* May misfortune follow you the rest of your life, but never catch up.
* May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future.
* May the rocks in your field turn to gold.
* May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
