If you know me, then you know I love the rich history and integrity of #whiskey so learning about @glendaloughdistillery with @doublemeasuredonal was a real treat for me. We chatted about their #potstill Irish Whiskey aged in Irish Oak barrels and I am fortunate to try some #irishwhiskey from their first cask. They sustainably fell these 140 year old trees around the distillery and for each tree felled replanted 7 new ones, and I got to say the #whiskey is spectacular and easy to drink and the #irishoak brings out so much vanilla. I can’t even imagine how good #caskstrength would be in these Irish Oak hogsheads 🤤.
