This concept is inspired by the term "orchid presentation". I wanted to coin an equivalent term for altersex individuals, using the iris as a symbol. Just as the orchid represents intersex identity, the iris was chosen for its unique and graceful appearance. In Slavic mythology, the iris is linked to the rainbow, which represents flexibility and diversity—much like the rainbow is a universal symbol for the LGBTQIA+ community.
I came up with the idea and designed the flag, while my friend (@heinzeldarling) picked the colors.
