My father used to say something like this, he used the word tenacity.          "Some were smart, I was tenacious, some were rich, I was tenacious, some were connected but I was tenacious"                                                                  

At IREN we find that this attitude has everything to do with engagement and an intrinsic need. Tenacity sometimes looks like rebellion and defiance. What IREN sees in an angry or detached teenager is potential, the possibility to find what they want and turn the ferocious need into tenacity and determination. We see untapped potential.
