remember me? perhaps not ~ if not, hiiiii i’m chloe

i’ve been ridiculously mia on this account but the truth is, i unfortunately do not have time to be here anymore & here is why:

for as long as i can remember, i’ve wanted to be a writer. 

when i was little, i used to create my own magazines and newspapers and write story after story.

now, my dreams have come true and i’m actually on my way to becoming an established writer and blogger.

things changed when i began my journalism degree and set up my own professional(ish) blog and from there, things began to snowball

i applied for more and more writing positions, then editing positions and i seemed to be getting luckier and luckier - i kept landing the things i applied for!

i couldn’t believe my luck, in fact, i still can’t.

i always knew i wanted to be a writer, but i never thought i was capable of turning my hobby and my favourite thing to do, into an actual, paying job.

to my friends, i’m currently known as octo-job ~ because i admittedly, have sooo many jobs.

i’m a junior editor for an online fashion magazine, a blogger for the huffington post, editor in chief of a local student newspaper, deputy editor of another local student tabloid and i’m an active freelance writer, editor and blogger. 

my big break came when i landed a blogging position with the huffington post and they published one of my articles

cut to a couple of months later and i am now preparing to cover the big one ~ london fashion week as uk press, invited by the british fashion council themselves

it’s been a lot of hard work, but my dreams are coming true and i could not be happier with my professional life right now 

many of you may have absolutely no interest in any of this, but i thought i owed an explanation to any of you that might have wondered where i have been for the past few months. and more than that, i owed it to this account to say a proper goodbye. 

i’ve had some great times on this account, got to meet some fantastic people and create some genuine friendships ~ not to mention improve my writing ability which i definitely believe has helped me become the writer i am today. 

this account helped me turn my passion into my job and i wanted to thank each and every one of you that has ever followed me, sent me a message or a meme, or created some crazy and some beautiful stories with me on this account. 

to some this may seem like an over the top goodbye, but this blog has been a part of my life for years and not only did it give me an outlet in the dark times, katherine was a huge part of my life too. i related to this character more than any other before and anyone else involved in RP will understand that you develop a genuine love for the people you write for. bottom line ~ it helped me become the writer i am today. and lbh, i’ve always been sentimental

The End: I’ll write about my character dying in your characters arms 

"I’m fine Stefan." she said finally, grabbing her purse and heading for the door. 

Katherine was going out for the night, leaving the protection of the Salvatore boarding house and going to do god knows what, even after she’d been receiving death threats. The ex-vampire had a lot of enemies, and once word got out that she had become human, they’d been sending messages telling her to ‘watch her back’ and ‘be careful where she went.’ And they now knew for a fact that there was no way to turn her back into a creature of the night, so there was nothing they could fall back on in case something did happen. But as long as Katherine was away from Klaus, she said she would be fine. "I’m not gonna let some nobody who’s too afraid to write their name on a silly little letter scare me out of having a little fun now that I’m…human." she said the last word as if it were sour milk.

Stefan sighed and didn’t say anything more, turning on the TV and letting her walk out the door. He wasn’t in the mood to fight with Katherine. Instead he decided that was enough time had passed and he was far enough away, he’d go to the bar she’d said she’d be at. 

All he wanted was for her to be safe and alive. It was true, he wasn’t supposed to care, but he felt like he had to. She had turned him, and protecting her was Stefan’s way of thanking her for the happier memories of becoming a vampire.

Once he’d heard the car start and drive out of the driveway, Stefan waited 10 minutes before getting up and heading out the door, driving a steady pace after her, making sure that she didn’t know he was tailing her.

When the vampire finally got to the bar, he parked it a little ways away and sat, watching her go in and everyone who came in and out after her. 

After about 3 hours, he saw Katherine come out of the bar, surprisingly sober and storming away from someone who seemed to be giving her trouble. 

"Look, don’t touch me, don’t talk to me, don’t breath my air." she said finally, turning to face the guy.

              “C’mon that seems a little harsh don’t ya think?" the guy said, with a confident smirk on his face.

Either he was really cocky or something was very off. 

             Stefan unbuckled himself and began opening the door.

“Not if I say it isn’t," she said confidently.

                                {And that was when he heard it.}

          The   g u n s h o t… … .

The man hadn’t pulled out the gun but the action had been so quick that Stefan hadn’t had time to react. 

              “You’re not so big and bad anymore, Katherine, D—" the guy was about to say something more but Stefan sped towards him, knocking him to the ground and out before he could utter his next breath.

As he knelt down next to Katherine, he pulled out his phone and called 911, calling for an ambulance in a rush. He hung up once they said they were on their way and bit into his wrist, putting it up to Katherine’s mouth while his other arm pulled her gently into his embrace. “Drink Katherine," he urged her; it might not make a difference but for all he knew it could still help her heal faster.

Once she finally gave into him he took his wrist away and pressed his hand firmly on the wound to try and stop the bleeding. He realized that he couldn’t think about a life without Katherine. Without her sassiness, without her reckless spirit, without those deep moments she seemed to have more and more of now that she couldn’t turn her humanity off.

                       He couldn’t imagine a life without Katherine Pierce.

Her eyes were beginning to droop. The vampire had never seen Katherine so pale. This was scaring him. He shook her a little, watching her eyes flutter open reluctantly, “Stay with me Katherine okay? Right here, eyes on me."

“I knew you were following me ya know," she told him softly, still wearing a small smirk.

Even in what looked like death, she was Katherine to the end. Always a few steps ahead.

        "I really did love you Stefan," the ex-vampire told the younger Salvatore. “Whether it’s what you wanted to believe or not, it”s true."

"No last words Katherine," he told her, still trying to keep her awake, to stall her consciousness at least until the ambulance got there.

        "These are last words Stefan," she whispered with a small shrug, which she winced at, clearly in pain. "I know death…a-and this is it…" Katherine let out a deep exhale. “Tell…tell Damon to not screw up now that he’s happy..and t—tell my dull as dishwater doppelganger…that she doesn’t have me to make her look interesting anymore…”

Stefan felt tears begin to well up in his eyes. He blinked them away and he heard the ambulance in the distance.

“What are all of you…goin—going to do without me…" she let out a silent chuckle, looking up at Stefan giving him a look that told him to come closer.

He leaned down a little and felt her lean into him, and their lips met. It was soft and as tender as a final kiss could be.

           "Thank you…" she whispered…..and then she was g

Stefan couldn’t help the tear that slid down his cheek and landed on hers, watching her expression change to nothingness and her eyes lose their spark as they closed. He heard her pulse stop as the ambulance finally got to the pair, but he knew it was too late. They were too late. Katherine Pierce had been snatched out of their life, of his life, of her own life.
