Five years in a row.

The new Forgeline Heritage Series IR3C earned the 2026 Goodguys Best New Product Award in the Tires & Wheels category at the Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, making it the fifth consecutive year that Forgeline has taken home this prestigious award.

Even more meaningful, the Goodguys Best New Product Awards are selected by the event attendees themselves. So we're honored that the builders, enthusiasts, and hot rodders who attended the show chose the IR3C as this year's winner.

Inspired by the iconic third-generation Camaro Z28 wheel and designed in collaboration with Roadster Shop, the IR3C blends classic muscle car styling with modern forged performance.

Un artículo publicado en la revista PLOS Computational Biology y firmado por los investigadores Matthias S. Keil y Joan López-Moliner, del departamento de Psicología Básica y del Instituto de Investigación en Cerebro, Cognición y Conducta (IR3C) de la Universidad de Barcelona pone de manifiesto que los dos tipos de neuronas encargadas de detectar objetos que se aproximan y generar un reflejo (eta y tau) tienen un único modelo antecesor neurofisiológicamente plausible. Los expertos han descubierto que este modelo se puede expresar matemáticamente y que los dos tipos de neuronas sólo se distinguen por un único parámetro en el modelo.  

Hasta ahora los estudios sugerían que insectos como el saltamontes, por ejemplo, evitaban las colisiones con unas neuronas denominadas de tipo eta, mientras que algunos pájaros y los humanos usábamos otras, las de tipo tau.  Recientemente se ha comprobado que algunas especies (como la paloma) disponen de los dos tipos de neuronas.

El estudio sugiere que la evolución "inventó" un tipo genérico de neuronas sensibles a las colisiones.
