Forgeline customers put on a dominant performance at the Goodguys 28th Summit Racing Nationals AutoCross competition, sweeping the top five overall positions and earning victories in the Pro, Pro-X, Street Machine, Corvette, and Sports Car classes.

Bob Bertelsen set the fastest overall time of the weekend and won the Corvette class in his "Green Mamba" C3 Corvette. Chris Smith captured the Pro Class victory and the Forgeline Buckeye Shootout title, while Ron Scott Jr. won Pro-X in a brand-new Corvette making its competition debut. Tom Farrington added the Street Machine class win, and Ryan Mathews topped the Sports Car class.

The new Forgeline Heritage Series IR3C earned the 2026 Goodguys Best New Product Award in the Tires & Wheels category at the Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, making it the fifth consecutive year that Forgeline has taken home this prestigious award.

Even more meaningful, the Goodguys Best New Product Awards are selected by the event attendees themselves. So we're honored that the builders, enthusiasts, and hot rodders who attended the show chose the IR3C as this year's winner.

Inspired by the iconic third-generation Camaro Z28 wheel and designed in collaboration with Roadster Shop, the IR3C blends classic muscle car styling with modern forged performance.

The Goodguys 2026 Forgeline Street Machine of the Year competition takes place this weekend at the Summit Racing Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Some of the nation's finest street machines will assemble Friday morning for judging before one build earns the title during Saturday's awards ceremony.
