The all new Apple iPhone 4 at a glance...
Here it is, finally! The all new iPhone 4 in white. Follwing in the footsteps of the hugely succesful 4g iPhone the iPhone 4 white is now on sale in the UK and Apple must be anticipating huge sales as the demand for these new devices is astronomical.
But is it just a colour change? How can Apple roll out a product that is pretty much identical to the previous model yet still have such a high demand for something as simple as a colour change? That aspect never ceases to amaze me.
I guess it's down to clever marketing on their behalf, which might even explain the delays in releasing the white iPhone in the UK and the US.
One thing we are sure of though is that nothing in life is free so If you're looking to get your hands on a free iPhone expect to make up the difference on the price plan you choose.
And if you're after an iPhone 4 on pay as you go then you'll be looking at prices from £510 for a 16gb and from £612 for a 32gb. Eeep!
So what are Apple going to do next to boost their sales even further? A Pink iPhone? Personally I don't think so. Maybe that would have an adverse affect on Apple's reputation for creating elegant, plush (and dare I say it) simple designs which have been consistantly capturing the publics attention since the late 90's.
So what exactly is the difference between the new iPhone and the previous black models that are available in 16 and 32 gb?
From what I can see... not a lot. I don't think this a bad thing though as I have owned my black 16 gig iPhone since last year an I LOVE it!
The camera is good, the HD Video recording is amazing and the applications available are still the highest for any smartphone at the time of writing this.
Voice activation is pretty handy along with the microphone and volume controls built into the new headphones so that's a plus.
