Can the iPad Pro Replace Your Laptop?

Using the current iPlayer leaves a lot to be desired, it can be slow at times and stop at any time, however looks like the BBC has got itself together and made a dedicated iPlayer app which reports say should be available on Thursday 10th Feb.

There are a couple of caveats though, firstly you will only be able to 'browse' in 3G, and playback will only be available when on a Wi-Fi connection... makes sense, but it means you won't be able to watch the programme you missed whilst on the train to work, well not unless your on a virgin train with Wi-Fi that is. Geoff Marshall (interactive Operations Manager for BBC) let this information slip out on twitter, but he also confirmed that the app will be strictly UK and also iPad only!
