Monitor the weather - Applications that you can use
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, the weather is important.
It isn’t always easy to second-guess what day will be like just by looking out of the window in the morning. There might be bright sunshine as you eat breakfast, but by lunchtime it could be pouring down. Or vice versa. We all knoe this, and we all use some sort of weather forecasting to keep on top of things be it listening to the radio, using the web, or using a weather app.
Your iPad has plenty of weather forecasting options: different apps can drill down to your precise location, give you long-range forecast, and even show you satellite images and overlay maps from around the globe. Most apps can cope with more than one location, so you can check you holiday destination as well as your home. Some double up as alarm clocks, some add in tweeting and other social media integration, some have great skins and animations. We’ve chosen three weather apps with different takes on their role to show you.
Tweet your weather and see some fab animations
