iPhone Text Bug Help
Hey guys. So I know most of you have probably heard of the iPhone/iPad/Mac text bug that's going around. It's starting at my school right now, which is a big problem because everyone now has a school iPad. Earlier today, my friend's wasn't working and the tech people couldn't help, so I looked at it, and I found a way to temporarily fix the problem so you can still use iMessage. I thought it would be helpful to share. If you have already gotten the message and you don't know who its from, follow these steps. First thing, close out the app completely by double-clicking on the home button on your Apple device. Next, go into your settings and find Messages under the apps. In the Messages settings, there is an option a little ways down that says "Filter Unknown Senders"- turn that on. Once this is on, go into your messaging app, and it should work. There will now be 2 lists of messages. 1 is your contacts and the other is unknown senders. With this set up, you will be able to see messages from people in your contacts and send messages to anyone. But any time you try to tap on the Unknown Senders list, the app will close out.
