finally had time to work my way thru the candela finale while at work. stopped immediately when aabria said she held out her hand as the "lets take ibuprofen together" image conjured in my mind. then changed it again when sam decided it was getting too serious for his taste lmao. love this whole circle.
Started to rewatch the Circle of Tide and Bone because I was bored and for the past two days I had been particularly stuck to the scene of Oscar giving up his memories and I think I now realised why.
In that particular scene when Oscar describes that he has to give up Cosmo, there is a specific mention of there being a quiet gasp of surprise/panic from the person who always stays with Oscar during this barter each time and the mention of "Not all. Just some. He's everything."
And later in the 3rd episode, while Iomene talks with Cosmo, she mentions this
She specifically says that "He wasn't holding onto you, it wasn't that you were holding onto him, you were holding onto each other"
And that stuck me like... Was I just slow on the uptake in this thing? Or am I just overthinking this scene cuz... the once "random" panicked gasp by some unknown person makes sense to me with this ending...
