@iolitemoth here is Pelican, your boy! Figured I'd share him here too ❤️
@iolitemoth Here’s my version! I did it really fast, but I hope you like it.
Note: The original drawing is from Moth, not mine.
Hi! I was wondering if you’ve seen/heard of Ant Lab’s ‘Insect Flight’ series? They take slow-mo videos of all sorts of bugs taking off and tell you a little about each bug as they fly away! I didn’t feel icked-out once! They’ve filmed some pretty cool bugs, some of which I’ve never heard of before!
I haven't, no! I'll check it out. And very proud of you for not being icked-out :)
Yo sign me up for the blocklist please <3
You heard them let’s get them to the anti-rpf blocklist! It would be very cool and sexy💖💖💖

Do you know of any beetles that eat tadpoles? Apparently we have one in our pond. We live in eastern PA, and I’ve never heard of any bugs that do this before
Sure, there are plenty of aquatic beetles that eat tadpoles. Dytiscidae is a whole family of predatory diving beetles, and there are a bunch of those native to Pennsylvania, and they will eat tadpoles. Backswimmers will, too, although they’re true bugs, not beetles, but they could certainly be mistaken for a beetle.
