COLLABORATIVE VIDEO CONTEST. A collaborative video combines shots taken by more than one filmmaker. Usually, there’s a well-defined topic or theme, for example, a wedding party or skateboard tricks. The lead filmmaker then assembles all the shots into a single, hopefully coherent movie. To demonstrate that idea, we’re running a contest titled “Out Our Windows.” Here are the rules: 1. Use a mobile device to shoot a clip of something outside your window—at home, work, etc. 2. Run time must be 30 seconds or shorter. 3. Post the clip on your Instagram page with the tag #outourwindowscontest. 4. Deadline is March 31. 5. Winner will be determined by the number of likes + comments. (Comments must be more than one word!) 6. In case of ties, the staff at MobileMovieMaking Magazine will choose the winner. 7.
