โ> he only agreed to watch a horror movie to see you get scared, though he also didnโt think it would be that bad, heโs faced a lot of villains (and most of the time itโs deliberate)
โ> he talks over the movie trying to guess when the jumpscares are coming, โright nowโโ and when they do he screams like a child going through puberty.
โ> as the movie goes on he slowly shuffles closer to you without you realising till you can practically feel his breath on you, along with that he definitely cuddles up with a pillow, his eyes never leave the tv while he watches it.
โ> he tries to act confident as if he doesnโt need a spare change of trousers after itโs over, he would also 100% end up tearing up, though he wouldnโt cry.
โ> when the movie ends he says โwow! can we watch another one?โ acting all smug however heโs hoping you say no.
โ> if you say yes unfortunately he will thug through, only to look cool infront of you, he eventually gets less scared as the second movie goes on, up until an ad comes upโ yes he jumped. the ad was bright! it caught him off guard, he used this as an excuse immediately brushing of the fact that when he jumped he scared you too, โmaybe we should watch something nice, like that new series!โ
โ> accidently tells mark about it and you BOTH get a lecture about it, the lecture only really focused on the fact someone (oliver) had decided to watch the horror movie at night.

โ> he was the one who suggested the both of you play, he only really suggested it so that he could watch you squirm and latch onto him for safety.
โ> no he doesnโt pretend he isnโt scared, because heโs not, he fights villains for god sake, a simple horror game couldnโt scare him at all, otherwise why would he suggest it in the first place?
โ> the moment he does get scared itโs when you do too, he screams like a girl, though when you side eye him he instantly mans up again, his ego will not get ruined by some stupid game which made him do about 8 tasks just to get to the good part! โyou screamed first!โ
โ> the only reason he got scared that time was because there was a jumpscare beforehand so he didnโt expect another one, after this though he instantly shoves the controller in your hands, โmy times up itโs your goโ in reality he just doesnโt want the controller to jump out his hands again.
โ> while your concentrating and actually playing and running from the monster in the game he takes this chance and instantly scares you, itโs simple, all he does is say โboo!โ and moves his head quickly to block the screen from your eyesight.
โ> when you guys are watching the movie, heโs already curled up beside you though he is keeping mental note on what NOT to do if he were getting haunted by a doll.
โ> definitely makes commentary and asks you questions like your the director โwait why donโt they just burn the doll or move.??โ if you both were in the cinema watching this heโd 100% be hushed by anyone else there, and then remain quiet while heโs red from embarrassment.
โ> when he talks if it isnโt a question about the movie, itโs him pointing out the easier ways to handle things but this is just him trying to keep himself from getting scared.
โ> occasionally glances at you to see your reaction to whatโs happening, he holds your hand throughout the whole movie.
โ> if he ends up getting scared he wonโt scream or make it obvious, however you will feel his body tense up beside you, thatโs about the only reaction you will get; and if the movie is even scarier he might occasionally flinch.
โ> sure heโs a hero, heโs invincible and his dad is literally omni man, but heโs never had to fight a haunted doll before so yes he is keeping tabs on what not to do if he comes across one along with if he ever got haunted by one.
โ> at the end of the movie if you get up to go to the toilet, he will be outside the bathroom door when you come back out heโs just checking on you donโt worry to much about it, itโs not like heโs terrified to sit in the living room.
