Do you have any details you want to share involving the sin pieces you've done?
OH ABSOLUTELY.
The Detailing for Gula (Gluttony) Is really fun.
Gula's throne is the first designed of the Sin Lords-the arm rests kinda look like pizza slices. It's design to be comfortable and support her body as it's weakened and fragile.
Gluttony is basically eating but not finding satisfaction. It's overindulgence when you don't need it. Gula lacks a stomach from a fight with Invidia so to get the nutrients her body needs to function she is CONSTANTLY eating. And when she takes breaks form eating so much-nutrients have to be pumped into her body via IV. She cannot gain back the weight she craves.
The nose ring in her portrait is a parallel to what actual pigs wear
To keep pigs from rooting and tearing up the ground and escaping farms-they get these nose rings which can be taken off when farmers take pigs to go root up overgrown areas. The fact Gula now lacks her nose ring implies she's free to gorge herself.
She also wears a white chef's jacket. All Gluttony demons wear Kitchenwear-with the white Chef being the HIGHEST ranks. She used to fill it out much better before her drastic weight loss.
Gluttony demon horns are already very thin-and with the lack of nutrients, hers are more fragile, so one is broken off. She's also has had some hair loss compared to her portrait.
Invidia is also got a lot of fun things.
Their throne is Uncomfortable and made of stone, when you sit in it-you will envy the others chairs because yours is so horrid.
The eye imagery isn't just for fun-the phrase 'The Evil Eye' is found in many cultures. The sterotypical 'Evil Eye' which is a charm to turn back jealous glares and curses are bright blue. Which decorate Invidia's body and their Portrait.
The scraps of paper and photos covering the walls is basically what Envy is in another form. Obsession. Invidia obsesses with what others have-fixating on them and trying to be like them. They do end up copying a lot of their fellow sin lords fashion wise. They cut their hair short like Gula and Superbia and wear a sort of loin cloth over their shorts like Asmodeus does.
Their portrait is of a monstrous version of themselves (which I comedically said to friends 'it's their fursona') The actual monster form is much more impressive. Leviathan is the demon associated with the sin of Envy; a great ocean monster, who has counterparts for the sky (Ziz) and the land (Behemoth) and predates most creations in the bible.
Invidia also collects eyeballs from sinners-again a reference to the Evil Eye.
I'm just now finishing up another Sin Lord, so I hope ya'll will be ready for Arcadia Belphagor.
