“Pfft---” Gilgamesh actually had to hold his laughter back for once. Oh, how Hakuno was one of the few people in this entire world that makes Gilgamesh hold back from laughing at times. Normally he’ll just go full out and laugh in front of her face because he’s that much of an asshole. 

Okay, that was a lie. There was no reason for Gilgamesh to hold back on his own laughter towards Hakuno. 

“HAHAHAHA! Oh, Hakuno you have been getting quite bold as of late!” But that makes it all the more interesting. Perhaps he should actually reward her for the entertainment she was bringing to his table. The pout on her face was quite cute, so fine. Since Gilgamesh was in a good mood, after all, he will not deny Hakuno her wish. Standing up, the King of Heroes stepped forward towards Hakuno. His hand lifted up to her face and holding her chin as he leaned forward, allowing his face to be close.

His lips hover over hers for a moment, literally centimeters apart from each other then he changed the course and direction of his lips and rested on her forehead.

That’s damn pretty impressive.  Not wanting to die, you say? Brings back memories of a certain woman I met. Very well.... Eh. What’s with that face? Are you dozing off? Ah, hey now... You’re my Master, right?”

“Ooo~ Do you know where we can get some? I really wanna try it!” She was already bouncing with excitement.

shirou has always found something endearing in his master’s face when she’s focused on something. she’s a hard worker, and when something has caught her eye, there was little that could pull her attention away from it until she decided otherwise. when she doesn’t seem to notice his touch for some time, he isn’t exactly surprised.

this doesn’t stop him from continuing what he’s started, only glancing up to give a small smile when she speaks with a giggle.  “you can say that.”  he admits, bowing his head to return to his braiding.  “you have beautiful hair, master. i’ve never seen it have a single knot, it’s almost shocking.”
