MODERN INHERITANCE: INVADERS ANIMATIC WIP (full progress June 2nd 4:30pm) TW: SOME BLOOD

Aaaaay we're fully into Murtagh's portion now. There's 2.6 seconds before we hit the start of the full Young Rider sequence, which is probably going to consume what's left of my soul due to the dragon sketches now being confirmed freehand. They're gonna take a good long while I think.

I got the QLady (questioning lady, the 4 frames before the rapid sequence of arrow kills) and the PewPewPew arrow kills done really quite quickly imo. I think I'm getting faster, which is dope.

Once the young Rider sequence is done I'll be officially out of bases, but the ones for the end of Murtagh's are mentally mapped. I have a few ideas for Eragon's finale but they'll take time, tinkering and testing.

Murtagh, during the Invaders event, reflecting on having to kill again and the kids reaction to him: *closes eyes and takes a deep breath before letting it out slowly*

Murtagh: *opens eyes, feels something barely brush against his neck*

Arya: *blood splattered, deadpan face, very suddenly standing in front of him where no one was when Murtagh closed his eyes, Faseigr’s point at his throat*

Murtagh: *half cut off shriek of surprise* FECK!

Arya: Oh.

Arya: *lowers Faseigr* Well, I was gonna do a song and dance asking you who your Da was, what Nasuada’s bedchambers look like and what your and Eragon’s Mum’s name was, but nah, that’s you alright.

Arya: *putting Wyrda in its sheath on her back* No one else in the world butchers ‘fuck’ like you do. Kids okay?

Murtagh: DON’ BLOODY DO THAT, WOMAN!

Uusha, on the other side of the door: We’re okay, ebrithil!

Arya: Good! You lot stay in there until all clear.

Murtagh: Care to explain what’s going on?

INVADERS ANIMATIC PROGRESS, MAY 26TH

Still have a lot of timing tweeks that need doing, but here's where we're at. hoping to smooth it out a bit more later but for now I'm trying to preserve that zoom in music for Murtagh's portion, so it's limiting what I can do in some ways.

You get to see the setups this time! the post-titlecard setups took me over four hours. I wasn't gonna just let them be wasted if I couldn't fit them all, so put them in the sequence for timing tests.

It’s…taxing.

At least Arya’s having fun though. Look at her go! WEEEEE!
