For today's Reiki 1 class I decided to burn along with frankincense, copay, myrrh and benzoin for clearing, a Persian herb called Esphand. This is some powerful stuff. It is said that it can be used to create invisible ink. It purposes is to clear what we believe in the Middle East to be "Evil Eye." This can be a created from jealousy which we know is from not believing we can have what another has, or from not wishing another good wishes. It is said that the herb is doing is magic and clearing what needs to be cleared there a crackling and popping sound. If you listen to this video there is a crackling and popping sound that you can hear. Luckily not a lot! Phew! There is a prayer that goes along with this as well. I fully agree! Embrace what you have. Live life to the fullest. Dress how you want. If showing what you have makes you feel good. Go for it! The way we dress is often a form of self expression. It is often a reflection how good we feel about ourselves. Yet, it does not mean you are not intelligent, kind, loving, compassionate or worthy of you choose to wear provocative clothing. It also does not mean you are a slut or "easy." In my youth, I knew for a fact there were a group of girls who did dress super conservatively which masked how promiscuous they were. Imagine, garters under the long skirts! Ha! Then there were others who wore clothes similar to the attached pic who were still virgins! Hello! Why do we judge each other so much? Do we not know by now that we cannot judge a book by its cover? What about assuming?
