Changing Minecraft Versions
So… I’ve noticed a lot of people like older versions of Minecraft better, and I thought, “Do you not knoW YOU CAN LITERALLY TURN BACK MINECRAFT TIME and play the old ones?!” So, In case you didn’t know, I am going to show you how. Note: This is ONLY ON MINECRAFT: JAVA EDITION!!
Step 1!
Open the Minecraft launcher. Not the game, the launcher.
Step 2!
Click on the Three lines in the Top-Right
Step 3!
Click on “Launch Options”
Step 4! (Optional!)
Click on the “Historical Versions” slider. This will allow you to use Alpha and Beta versions of the game. These are really old. I don’t think you would want to go that far…
Step 5!
Click the “Add New” button
Step 6!
Click on the Version drop down, and choose the version you want.
Step 7! (Optional!)
Name the Configuration!
Step 8!
Save the Configuration!
Step 9!
Click on “News”
Step 10!
Click on the little green arrow on the bottom
Step 11!
Click on the new Configuration
Step 12!
Click on play!
Step 13!
Go to SinglePlayer
Step 14! (IMPORTANT!!)
CREATE A NEW WORLD!! If your worlds are on a newer version, your newer things and blocks to turn to stone!
Step 15!
