My name is Stasja, and this is my channel — like thousands of others :D
Stasja — a twist on my name with a Norwegian flair (the “sj” combination gives the “sh” sound). U can find the transcription in the picture below :3
Well, I don’t know how to present myself on social media at all, so let’s start with the basics :D I’m from Russia, I’ve been learning English for 8 years, and I want to become a translator. I started this channel to train my English skills and pick up some slang expressions and abbreviations (I know only two so far 🌚) I’m also learning Norwegian bc I’m really interested in this beautiful country, but I’m only using Duolingo right now. It’s a good start, but it’s definitely not enough for real progress. :_)
What you’ll see here? Well, I enjoy drawing, though I really need more practice. Maybe this channel will encourage me to draw more often, who knows. I also like writing and have some fanfics in Russian (one of them is pretty good, I think!!), but I’ve never tried writing in English. So, everything is ahead! And as I mentioned earlier, I’d like to become a translator, so I plan to translate some Russian memes and stories bc they’re funny, really interesting and sometimes unbelievable! U might like them ;D
In the picture above, u can see all my favourite fandoms and ships. The main one among them is ATLA, but I want to create content for all of them! :)))
My favourite band is Nervy, so sometimes I’ll recommend you songs or translate some lyrics. I’m not sure if you’ll like songs with Ukrainian or Russian lyrics — just let me know! :)
I hope I won’t abandon the channel :DD I’ll show you my first work as soon as I finish it! ;3
P.S. I’m a super emotional person, so sometimes a strong word might slip out when I’m really hyped or frustrated. Nothing too crazy, just how I naturally express myself! 😅 Hope that’s okay with y'all!! <3
