Hey, what if Boris can eat because he's more /complete/? Like Alice & the Butcher gang. I mean, if they're complete enough to have Toon Hearts, then they must be complete enough to have other organs as well. And Sammy was closer to being a Searcher than a mutilated toon which could be why he can't eat but Boris can.
Yeah, that’s what I’m guessing. It’s unlikely things made of raw ink have functioning organs (if they have organs at all), so the Searchers and Sammy can’t eat. Things that are properly formed, like Boris, have fully functional organs all around and can eat without problems, as can half-human cartoons like Alice or Bendy (if he could open his mouth, that is). Some Butcher Gang members might be able to too, but it would probably cause a whole lot of complications.
