First event: Dance Competition. “Ugh. This will be boring,” I say to myself. Given that I’m not into dancing and I don’t really dance (only in situations between life or death, and grades do count to that). The first performer is the Team Valor. While they’re performing I realize that I already swallowed my previous statement about how boring the dance competition will be, because I am literally yelling my heart out (thanks to my lungs and ribs, they held my heart tight). I find no reason to stop because my three friends (two of which are competent in dancing, and the other one is like me – a person not interested in dancing – but looks dazzling while giving her best moves) are there and hello, I’m a supportive friend here. Next is the Team Mystic which looks powerful and dominant in their steps and movements. Afterwards is the Team Instinct which changes the mood a bit because they incorporate a story in their dance moves. Last but definitely not the least (drumroll pls) comes the TEAM HARMONY! Each step they perform ends with a bang, and each move of their hands produce magic (“our team will unquestionably be the winner” – me talking to myself).

Time passes quickly and it is now time for the announcement of the Dance Competition winners. “For the fourth place…” the emcee speaks (At this time, I have full confidence that this is not our team. Maybe the Team Valor, or the Mystic, or the Instinct. One of them but not us). “The Red Valor!” the emcee declares (See? See? It was not us). “Wait wait, sorry,” the emcee suddenly utters. Then the world stops, all ears focus to the next words that the emcee will say. “The Green Harmony!” I can’t hear a thing; I think I’m deaf. This is impossible, the Harmony’s dancers looked amazing. I can’t sink it in, my mind doesn’t absorb the words.

Until I realize that of course we will not win, we are humble and peaceful. We are humble enough to give chance to others; we are peaceful enough not to give our best to beat others. Because if we really gave our best, they will surely raise their white flags and we do not want to remove the thrills and excitements, right?

The day flows fast with the afternoon program of sports. I spent the whole afternoon playing table tennis, being an umpire, and cheering for the Team Harmony players.

2nd day:

The whole day contains various ball sports – basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis – with their respective championship battles. I almost spent the whole day hanging up at the table tennis area at the stage (because I’m not interested to other sports), but after lunch the table tennis games are already over and they have to pack up the equipment neatly. So now, I have no choice but to watch other games. While doing the ultimately boring job of watching other players, our coach in Table Tennis suddenly talked to me “May pagkain ka dun.” So I looked forward and saw my co-umpire waving her hands at me. The moment I reached her, she gave a red ribbon bread and a drink to me. Of course I asked what is the food for, and she said that it is for being an umpire. I was so overjoyed with the food I received that my smile didn’t fade till I reach home (yes, that’s how much I love food) – TILL I REACH HOME. Because I realize that my phone was gone.

3rd day:

I started the day being extremely sad because I miss my phone so much. I have to do certain measures like reporting it to the office and securing my accounts today, so I expect this day will be stressful, but I decide to put it away for a moment and enjoy the last day of intrams. While I was sitting on a bench playing with my classmate's phone (to run away from reality in a moment), one of my classmates from Labschool (my dear alma mater) and still my classmate presently, enters the gym, carrying the personalized shirts we ordered that was designed by our very own Paul Domantay. The shirt says "The Legend Continues" (with a TSU-LHS logo and an eagle) and has an Alibata thing at the back that made me proud to be a part of the Legend. Suddenly, it feels like this day would turn out well. All of us (LHS' past students) wear those shirts and after several minutes the program starts.

Again, the CLDH-EI gymnasium roars. Red Valor, Blue Mystic, Yellow Instinct, and Green Harmony yell their cheers above their lungs. Only there is the new addition, the Black Legend (okay, this is not official but it sounds cool haha). The whole gym suddenly blasts its full power - so loud it is almost deafening - when the candidates of Mr. And Ms. Intrams appears. And so it happens: first is the casual wear with a shirt of their teams, then the sports wear, afterwards is the q & a portion (still wearing their sports outfit), then the formal wear, followed by the awarding. The humble and calm Green Harmony mostly wins---  (okay fine, I'm going to say it) the last place in the pageant. But that is because we are humble and are giving chance to others.

Intramurals result: 4th place- Green Harmony, 3rd place- Yellow Instinct, 2nd place- Red Valor, and Champion- Blue Mystic.
