Just a typical day over at the AbernathyVada Ranch.
Obviously the entirety of the ranch will be left to her when she's older (by default because Tate don't give a damn), so she's got to get things in top shape now while she's young. Steph & Vonnie had a decent run, but everything's in good, tiny hands now.
Vada, being the more social twin, does indeed have a great vocabulary for her age. But of course, there's a few words she struggles with. It's so darn cute with her little Chestnut Ridge Drawl/accent.
The horses are back home, and while they have warmed up to the twins being around, they are still not fans of being social with them. That suits Tate just fine. He's not an animal lover at all (he just barely tolerates the bird in his house). But Miss Vada? Oh, they're GOING TO love her. She'll make sure of it, lol.
Yem-Rick = Lemerick
Sodie = Rhapsody
Quesh-table = Questionable (her favorite word since hearing Stephan say it)
And as always, Tate is going to be Tate. Prince Petty.
Mac & Cheese and buttered breadsticks have been added to his list of safe foods. But he still likes to tell Siobahn she can't cook, so there's that.
He also has it in his mind that taking all of Stephan's shoelaces means he can't leave the house (as if Steph doesn't mostly wear cowboy boots to work now, lol).
