GARDEN UPDATE FRONT 03/27/2022
I know I promised an update way earlier, have been dealing with a chronic pain/illness problem.
Past that We are still in the process of revamping both front and backyard to try and get the most produce/product from the space we have available.
Row #1- we have lambs quarter, Kale, lettus and a sunflower. We are in the process of letting the lettus and kale seed so we can use that seed for next year.
Row #2- peas on The tomato cages that are finally getting some flowers so we should be seeing some actual pods soon! There are carrots seeded in as well.
Row #3- raddish and beets that we are letting go to seed as well as some Kale that was sprinkled in.
Row #4- sunflowers
Future rows #5-9 w/ a tiny view of the flower bed. The flower bed has canna lillies and is horribly over grown w/ weeds right now we plan on tarping off all these areas and are in the process of figuring out how we want the beds to sit in the yard.
The mint bed, I gotta try to come in and weed it out but the mints done a good job of taking over the space it's in. We had to remove the mother pot to do some work so I was worried I was going to lose the mint.
The tiny peppers! I'm hoping for it to flourish enough that I can graft out some branches to grow some new ones. (We like to make spicy oils for gifts and cooking)
I am honestly forgetting what this is right now but its growing in the same bed as the mint. I'll have a name with the next update but it's either a parsley or cilantro.
One of the 2 fig trees has figs growing on it, we've gotten 2 edible figs from this one so far!
Some flowers on the opposite end of the mint bed
Front yard update pt1of2 3.10.21
Pepper pot, the pepper survives another week. There's also Salvia and Marigolds.
Row 1 - there are some sunflowers at the end but we are going to put Armanian cucumbers in this row to try and smother out the grass w/out the aid of a tarp.
Row 2 - peas and unknown squash. These will be bare at the end of the day to make way for the next crop rotation.
Row 3 - has been emptied to make way for the next crops.
Row 3- empty
Row4 - sunflowers, Michillin cabbage, we are in the process of removing to prep for this season. There is also chard and kale in the back side
Row 5 - Michillin cabbage, Broccoli.
Row 5 - Michillin cabbage, Broccoli

Row 7 - squash
Row8 - tomatoes and peppers
Row 8 - tomatoes and peppers.
Row 9 - Melons, cantaloupe, watermelon and peppers
Row 10/potted row - not very good pics in this part of the update since I will be adding more pots this week but the Moringa tree and fig tree are still alive.
Row 11/the flower row- we're starting to see some green that isn't weeds. There's Canna's and Holy hocks and I believe we have some gladiolas currently but we plan on more being added this or next week.
