It didnāt often get windy in town, so Mia was never particularly prepared for the random gusts coming up the street. Naturally, with her luck, they came up right at the worst moments. Amelia was juggling a tray of coffee for her coworkers and a pile of papers from the printer tucked under her other arm, with the receipt for everything in her hand. She never had a firm grasp on anything, so when the wind blew against her, the receipt slipped right out of her hand.Ā āNo, no no,ā she said, turning around to try and catch it. She wasnāt about to run after it, even though she needed to give it to her boss. Heād hopefully understand, right? No... no he wouldnāt. Thus, Amelia was trotting down the street, careful not to spill any of her items, trying to catch up to the piece of paper.
