🌊 INTERTIDAL - Chapter 25 Negotiating Cease Fires while Mending Fences
There was something about Paris that felt so nostalgic. Like a film set out of a moody seventies Lolita-esque Bardot film, the metropolitan city that was as jarring as it was welcoming lived in rose colored sepia tones in my head. Would forever be that summer dream I spent with my sweetheart our first year together as an official couple though we hadn't come out to the world yet. We spent our days sunbathing along the Seine. Walked the streets of Paris drunk on expensive wine spinning each other in circles. I can still recall the exact alley I had pulled Yoko down--the both of us giggling manically then quieting as I pinned her gently to the brick façade of an apartment building. How her beautiful onyx eyes darted to my lips as I smiled at her.
Her kiss was so much sweeter and impassioned than it ever had been.
The cooing of "love you Vina" haunting my dreams from there on out. -@anotherbluesunday
