Another non-binary person where I work!!
Except that now the only non-binary persons those people know are both afab...
Hi there! I've heard a lot of information about "real" jobs, and I was just wondering, is a summer internship considered a real job?
Well hello puggle!
I would class a "real job" as anything you do that pays the bills. So if you're getting paid, it's a real fuckin job.
Summer internships are very important to career advancement. I had several back in my salad days, and they launched my career as an editor in the publishing industry. However... they were all unpaid. Very important and useful, but not a "real job" by this standard.
If your internship is paid, it's a job.
My question to you, my dear, is... why are you focused on what a "real job" is? Do what helps get you closer to your goals while also bringing in enough income to support yourself.

im a law student wanting to go into m&a and im doing an online course, just got an internship, but i still feel like im never gonna understand things. like maybe they accidentally chose me thinking i have more knowledge than i do when they literally admitted they don't expect me to know anything as someone doing undergrad. any advice on how to deal with this imposter syndrome?
They definitely didn't accidentally choose you and they don't expect you to know anything beyond what a typical law student should know.
You beat imposter syndrome by listening and learning intently, responding to work inquiries in a timely manner, doing self-research and asking good questions when you're confused, and volunteering for more and more opportunities even if you don't know what the hell you're doing because that's exactly how you'll learn what the hell to do. This is your time to make mistakes and grow.
At some point, you'll eventually realize that the majority of the most successful and impressive people you meet don't always know what the hell they're doing-- they just have the confidence to try, the courage to persist when they fail, and the strength to keep going until they finally get it right.
Hey. HEY. HEEEEEY GUYS LISTEN
okay so Iāve been up since three doing internwork and seminar work and I only just finished thatās besides the point but Iād like to tell you all one thing
One thing from sleep deprived Stevie.
Those sores on TB Karenās lips? These:
The discoloration/patches on her nose and cheeks:
The ones on her lips /could/ be from an std. BUT they also could more likely be something called Lupus Vulgaris - tuberculosis luposa. Otherwise known as TUBERCULOSIS SKIN LESIONS Theyāre painful as hell- and can be found on and around the neck nose, eyes/eyelids, cheeks, ears, and lips. Itās also very contagious which could also bring reason to her saying if she ākissed or fuckedā Mostly the kiss part, as itās centered mainly around the face and neck. So yeah, there goes your hot tidbit of learned and applied knowledge that I did to remember that. and thats on learning diseases for mortuary science
This is what waking up at 3am, drinking ten cups of coffee, and sheer fucking spiteful, stubborn, willpower my brain has attached to a tiny thread. And for fucks sake if my proctors tell me I did something wrong this week Iām going to fucking kill them. I really am going to kill them. Why give me documents to do without fuckin explaining how to properly log in the hours- donāt get me wrong Iām glad and thankful for what Iām getting but if they tell me I put my hours in wrong Iāll fucking snap. Off to the Funny Farm with me
