Day 18 - Urie (show cannon + au)

In my other try day Urie, more commonly refered to as Nelly on this story's plane, while using the 3rd eye, of her former & soon newly self, Angel Urie. I guess i could try something mininal starting w that idea... ]

Urie is a kind and lovely angel. A caretaker, but she has her own weaknesses. Her passion is photography, and she has greenhands as well. Back in the city of the angels she used to have a little garden. At least this is what Nelly saw in the vision of what Odelie believes to be her real former self. The being before the fall to obscurity and her rebirth as a mortal in this faraway century of which seems to be another world. or maybe just another plane of existence? One intermediary land born out of struggle, a bridge between the high and rhe kows...

When asked how it could have happened for her to fall she got the answer from Odelie: oh, you see, Raf, her, i mean, your best friend was readying to go the path of metamorphosis at the secret gates of the changing way and suffer that no immortal was able to complete to become human. She did it for love to a devil. Someone she could not have been with in her immortal self.. Urie while she did understand her love for that devil was that great, she could not reallu accept the departure of her biggest friend and support and motivator, Raf. Also she wanted to tell something really sensitive to her friend Raf. Something that she didn't get to. As she ran towards the gate she felt into an obscure trap of darkness. It could have sent anyone away, but she, I mean, you were the unlucky one. The spheres chose then to get you into the closest plane to the lower reality, intermundia, not really far, nor really close to earth. Just a real bridge frequency. You didnt do anything bad, that's just a test in your path, to regain your angelic status and maybe become an angel stronger than Raf would have been...

Oh, and don't worry about your friends. They know you are safe here, although they have no real connection to this world, but we can connect. I as an intermediary brought them the news. There are also the magical globes that can open up out of special lilies and they work out like telephones. Only a special kind of spirits like me can really walk in intermundia, and anywhere between the realms, as I am a neutral angelic spirit.

Urie listens to Odelie, barrely able to believe what she hears. So they are in intermundia? Not on earth itself? She has so many questions.. But Odelie told her there was no time for such. The gates to the other world will soon close, and she needs to hurry if she wants to see Urie again. She is brought a mirror by the fairies of the forest, the mirror of truth that shows herself as Urie once more, and more clearly. She is seen with her friends, Dolce and Miki, and then she is embracing her family, her parents and her sibblings... She looks so happy around them.

i have NO idea if those two actually look like obiwan and ani but i tried my hardest! i absolutely ADORE this fic by @intermundia and i hope my cover does it justice. if you’re an obikin shipper i highly suggest this fic, it’s incredible!!

Professor Kenobi was the entire reason Anakin had ended up with a double major in Classics and Computer Science. Obi-Wan Kenobi was the best.

In the beginning, Anakin had only ever taken Ancient Greek to fulfill his language requirement. Studying a dead language was the only way to avoid having to spend years making inane small talk about the weather and his favorite colors in a language he’d never use with fellow students he’d prefer to avoid.

Two years of reading Ancient Greek? He had figured that he could do that, no problem.

He hadn’t even looked up the name of the teacher of Greek 101 when he registered, or read their teaching reviews online, because it really hadn’t mattered. He’d just wanted to avoid the alternatives. Anakin had sorely regretted not checking. He’d wished that he’d been prepared, because when Professor Kenobi walked in, it felt like Anakin was taken apart and put back together wrong.

Professor Obi-Wan Kenobi was in his thirties, a Hellenist, and had a DPhil from Oxford. He was an internationally renowned scholar, author of multiple famous books on Thales and Anaximander, Anakin’s thesis advisor, and a total fucking thirst trap.

is the tag you're going to use "male lactation"? i can add that to my filter list. idk if you're going to have any feminization but i appreciate that as a tag when appropriate 💙
