     As the bell over the door rang, Allister shot awake behind the front counter. They squinted in the light, since their glasses were still on the countertop, but still greeted the potential customer, “W-welcome to Mmm-Moth Wings a-and Moon B-B-Beams..!” Nailed it.

     The sun was finally beginning to set and the air was starting to cool down, but this time of day was just as dangerous as any other. Predators that had been hiding from the sun would start to come out to hunt. But there was a saving grace not too far away. A horse!

"Stop." He chuffs, self-consciously bringing a hand up to press the back his wrist to his cheek, part to obscure his expression, part trying to gauge whether the embarrassment of this might show through the heat in his face.

Saying this, out loud? Out loud?

There's a real hesitation before he even begins, and he keeps it short.

"He just. Is beautiful. Shape of him. The scar, it's distinctive.. his hair is v-very nice, I. I don't know."

It doesn't help that on one of their first meetings, he had grabbed him by the throat like that. As a THREAT. Threatened to KILL him. Something that shouldn't at all be a positive, isn't that..just. very great, very healthy.

And then, it isn't so often that he finds himself jealous of someone's appearance, but there's that something about him that's closer to some thinner version of how he'd like to look, down to the fur lined jacket styled so similarly to the ones he used to love. Jean has this sort of, clean, well kept, angled but soft appearance. The only thing is the harshness in his stare.
