#interfaith asks

I know it's very early to be thinking about it sort of long-term, but I want to convert and I'm kind of worried about missing out on christmas. My parents aren't religious and it's never meant a much to me spiritually, but I do get 10 days off uni to come home (I live 7-8 hours away) and see my family + old friends and that is really meaningful to me. I feel like if I refuse to participate in christmas I'll be giving up the one communal tradition I share with these people. Advice?
