#interestiiing

So, Larkspur's either playing off pure instinct and building a nest ONLY because I gave her a nest box, OR she is in fact pregnant with a very small litter. I did try to feel for kits again, and there was.. something.. harder in there, but I didn't feel it move or anything like that. Maybe? She's due the day after Quicksilver. This is good, hopefully Quick will have her kits on time in case Lark only has one. I can't leave her with just one kit, it'll freeze to death. Multiple kits is what allows them to stay warm.

We'll see! Hoping for at least two. The thing about Lark is that she's longer-bodied than most of my does. She really doesn't show pregnancy well, and I remember heavily questioning if she was pregnant the first time she had a litter, too (and she had six, total). I gave her a box to see what she'd do (if anything), and she didn't show much interest this morning, but she's gathering up hay now.

Firstly, and I realize this isn’t original, but I love films. I can get really exited when a new film is announced and watch the trailer 10000 times (suicide squad) I get really emotional about some films and the result is that i rant on about actors to people who just don’t care (sorry mom). FILMS ARE GREAT OKAY 

Secondly, I get happy from happy people. When I see someone I don’t know whistling or dancing or acting all crazy just out of happiness, there’s a 99% chance I’ll get happy too, unless that person is an ignorant ass that I can’t stand.

Thirdly, the thing that always makes me happy is the awesome mixtape from guardians of the galaxy. I sometimes listen to it on the way, and I’m always tempted to dance and jump in puddles and get water all over me...

Another thing that makes me happy is travelling. I know this is just the least original thing I could find, but when I was younger, I always used to go hiking with my sister and parents, and we’d end up somewhere on top of a mountain next to a gletsjer or something, drinking water we found in the nature and seeing all of norway. Unless you’ve done that, you don’t understand how powerful that feels.

Lastly, learning about history and space makes me happy. History is just really interesting and it’s wonderful to know what people fucked up, but also what they did wonderfully. The awesome thing about space is that you can’t understand it, and there’s always more to know, which is mindblowing.

it also seems to be affected by how human he is - when he’s human the voices are quieter. But he also says the inquisitor makes things harder? I suspect it’s a fade-related issue thing. Like the somniari? As long as someone needs him enough?

I tend to handwave the “I’ve never looked” bit of dialogue when the Inquisitor asks Cole if he’s read his/her mind since that conversation tends to happen fairly late in the game and the Inquisitor’s been through enough unpleasant stuff by that point that I imagine “emotional/physical pain GOTTA HELP” trumped “it’s hard to look at/read you since you’re so bright because of the mark.”

(Which reminds me that I can’t remember what he says to Trevelyan there.)

i suspect tama and solas were special cases because they really needed someone. I’d say he would need some sort of personal connection, but the closer they are to him/those he knows and the level of the need? stops the distance being an issue.
