In a city full of a few hundred thousand, running into people she'd met before wasn't out of the ordinary for Sage Franklin. In fact, it happened more often than not, ironically. Yet there was one person she'd gone years without accidentally running into, at least as far as she knew. Maybe the other had seen her out and about, but avoided her because what does a person say to someone who used to be a fellow mom friend and then just... was no longer a mom? Their connection had been with their kids, just a few years apart, and practically inseparable whenever they'd end up at the park together. Without that connection, she wouldn't know what to say either. It only took five years, and some change, to run into Zeynep again, a little older than the blonde remembered, but still familiar. Near her was a smaller child and two similar-looking teens... the twins. Her heart dropped, knowing the last time she saw them was when they were barely nine. If they hadn't made eye contact at just the right time, Sage wasn't sure she ever would have said anything to Zeynep, but by the time their attention connected, it was already too late. Closing the distance, Maggie's tiny hand in her own as the toddler swirled around in her witchy replica of Dani's Halloween costume, Sage smiled softly in greeting. "Hey, it's uh... been awhile. How have you been?"
