Well, he hoped so.

"Sooooo I got ya a gift!" He brought his hands out from behind him, revealing a... key? "Wanna go to a creepy house with me and the other guy? I think it would be real fun!"

Skoll seemed to give a fairly intrigued look at the dark mage. Considering the stuff that they got up to with the circus, it seemed like that Skoll wasn't opposed to taking some time off with the mage.

After all, might as well make friends while I still can, before people start getting ideas about me, and start going into a phase of shunning me.

Skoll took the key into his own hands, before he then gave a nod towards Henry.

Laughter. Not haunted, no! Just dark. And spooky. And super creepy, but that was the appeal! "So whatcha say? We go to another to celebrate? There's another birthday bud too — and he's BLUE and half WOLF — and I thiiiiink this would be a super duper cool party!"

Berkut had turned around at the yelling, barely recognizing the voice in time to stop himself from lashing out at Henry. It takes him a moment to register what the man is saying, but after he can't help but smirk a bit, especially recalling that house.

"Yes well, of course it couldn't. Though more importantly... I didn't realize we share the same birthday." Truthfully he hadn't given his own birthday much thought. In the current circumstances, he bad barely thought of it. Still that didn't stop him from blinking in surprise at the invitation.

"Of all the places to go you want to find another abandoned house?" He didn't bother to stop the snort of disbelief. "Though I think I know who you're speaking of. A new arrival to my house..."

Berkut thinks it over... he hadn't had any plans to celebrate, and this seemed as good an idea as any. Besides it couldn't hurt to have more people to have on his side, if only to help prevent any trouble from those who knew him from back home.

Look in the kitchen — and there would be a bonfire roaring in one of the ovens, flames threatening to spill out of their enclosure. Standing in front of it was Henry, who kept a wry smile on his lips as he knelt to take a closer look at the pan.

"I heard that if you surround the pan in more fire," he leaned in closer to the fire, singeing the very tips of silver, "it'll bake faster! And maybe we'll get out of kitchen duty sooner, hm?"

A deep inhale, to the smell of ash... and probably, a hint of pumpkin, somewhere in there. "Mmm... smells preeeetty good to me!"

For a moment Berkut simply stares at the situation. Seeing the man standing in front of the absolutely blazing oven, utterly unperturbed at what was going on. Briefly, he wonders if he should simply walk away. Sure, he had been put on kitchen duty, but if he escaped back into Abyss fast enough, what were the monks going to do? Drag him out to make him clean?

Yet he stayed, letting out a sigh at the sight. Already he could smell the ash in the air, and knew the pie was no doubt already utterly ruined. Perhaps at best it might be hot enough to be considered charcoal at this point. 

“Well if it smells good to you, than by all means you should get to enjoy it. I will pass, despite how… tempting it clearly is.” Sarcasm dripping from every single word as he watched. Briefly he wondered if he should at least be acting a bit more concerned about this all. Yet it was at least vaguely amusing. He’d just have to make sure to duck downstairs before any blame for the situation could be levelled.
