Into The Lions Den
What Connor was expecting was a drug bust. He didn’t think anyone was really going to be around as he had been scoping the place out for a while now. Just to make sure he wasn’t about to die the second he looked into the warehouse. From what Connor saw, a few people came and went but it was nothing to worry to much about. Besides that it was about seven in the morning and he doubted most dealers were up at this time. In fact, Connor was almost a hundred percent sure he hadn’t seen anyone come or go around this time at any point before, so getting a better look now, was probably the best time to do so.
Climbing out of his cruiser, Connor shut the door and walked towards the warehouse. He stepped carefully and scanned the area for anyone that might be near by. First, he did a sweep around the outside of the building. Most of the windows were blacked out, which was a bit annoying but not surprising. He doubted very many drug cartels wanted people looking in. Once he had gone around the building twice and run into no one, Connor started trying doors.
The front was locked and he was careful to just slowly turn the knob, give it a light pull, slight push, and then let go. He didn’t want anyone inside thinking something was up. He then made his way around the back and found a side door that was unlocked. Sloppy. He pulled out his hand gun carefully from its holster and flip on his flash light as he moved quietly into the room. He shuffled forwards into a dark hallway and past a few locked doors. It was pretty quiet at the moment.
In fact, it was way too quiet.
