Apples ultra thin, MacBook Air; I can’t live without mine! 🙂 My MacBook Air goes everywhere with me; it’s powerful enough for day to day use, super quick boot up and file access and no moving parts means I can slide it into my bag knowing it’s secure from bumps and knocks too! Transistor won't play on Intel HD graphics :'(
Okay, to the few who follow me, PLEASE HELP.
Nothing major, but it's annoying the jinglies out of me.
Is there ANY way I can stretch my games' aspect ratios if they're at a smaller resolution? I have a PC with an i3 processor and Intel HD integrated graphics - I know, it's not that brilliant.
But that's mainly the reason why I need a smaller resolution, stretched.
If you can help, that would be super duper, and thanks! :)
Anyone know?

4K TV's and Intel HD graphics
So yep, screen resolutions are finally going to 4k (3940x2160). It took them long enough. We've been at 1080p for like 8 years. Get your cheap 1080p screens if you want, but I'm holding out for a 4k screen. Sadly, this means that I'll have to start using windows 8 because it actually scales to higher resolutions, unlike windows 7. I actually knew about this last year when intel put out their path to 4k roadmap where they announced they were planning to give 4k support with their chipsets, but the other players in the industry, the screen manufacturers and the content providers are just now catching up. Shoutouts to intel for making super pretty displays possible.
Intel has so much impact on the entire technological world like that. I also like how they're stepping up their Iris Pro HD graphics on their new 4th gen processors. While I myself am not going to ever have a computer with just Intel HD, making Intel HD better accomplishes 2 things that actually benefit video card users like me.
1. nVidia and AMD are forced to make their entry level cards better than intel HD, while still keeping the price low. Because of this, nVidia and AMD have had huge jumps in the quality of their entry-level stuff. So now you can get way better stuff compared to before for much cheaper.
2. Intel is providing a base minimum spec for computers. Before, the industry kinda used the 9800 as minimum requirement for a lot of stuff because a lot of people had one. But now that intel is surpassing that with on the die graphics, a few years from now devs will be able to make more demanding multiplayer games and not worry about lower end computers from the last few years being able to handle it.
So even though I'm not going to be using intel HD as my main graphics, I still like what they're doing, and still would argue that it benefits me.
