Introducing...Insync for Linux and Gmail
It's Christmas in July from Insync as we announce 2 presents today: Insync for Linux and Insync for Gmail
Insync for Linux
It works just like its Windows and Mac counterparts. Insync for Linux beta 1 was tested on Linux Mint 13 and Ubuntu 12.04 and has badging / context menu support for the Nautilus file manager.
However, it has 2 (very cool) features:
headless app -- runs on any modern Linux and removes the tray app, badging and context menu.
API -- client-side API that allows scripting and setting of custom file metadata.

A video is worth a million words so…
Insync for Gmail
Don't you wish your attachments would automagically appear in Google Drive or Dropbox, organized by email, support versioning and subject tags for searching?
That is what Insync does but the magic is in its simplicity. To use it, just label an email (with an attachment) using @Drive or @Dropbox. That's it.
Nothing to download. Nothing to install.
It is magical.
Works with Sparrow, iOS Mail, Outlook and other clients that supports labels / folders.

Note: We are waiting for Dropbox to approve our app, which we expect soon.
Dropbox support is now available!
A heads up to our team -- they have worked incredibly hard and I couldn't be happier. But we are just beginning…we have lots in our product pipeline and expect more announcements throughout the summer.
