Hey there,Institutions aren't "psycho houses." They're respectable places where people go to get further help when out-patient treatments aren't enough to keep them safe. Being institutionalized is not something negative. It's a viable option for people who need a little extra help or more intensive treatment. I for one think the stigma against them needs to end! People are so scared to go when they are only there to help.Some places allow phones. Some don't. Most I know of allow restricted access. Each person will have their own treatment plan, and there may be temptations on phones that don't fit in with a treatment plan. But either way, the goal is to get you HEALTHY <3Take care,Lucy
