Mayhaps an Instinct au where Inko, in a panic, actually went to the police to report her son missing?
1 - Well, the good news is that Inko survives this AU! The bad news is that the police is really curious as to why she took so much time reporting her son missing and they aren't amused to know she left her son alone for weeks.
2 - Sadly, Inko reveals Izuku's true quirk, which immediately sends alarms to anyone who is supposed to know about All for One. All Might immediately realizes what happened to Aldera and tries to find Izuku but the boy is gone.
3 - Bakugou is taken out of juvie thanks to All Might testifying for him and Tsukauchi confirming with his quirk that he wasn't the one to attack the school. He gets to become a hero student and he wants Deku dead but that's a story for another day.
4 - Inko goes to prison for child abandonment. The HPSC doesn't care about this but they are lashing out because they can't find Izuku and can't punish Inko for hiding what his true quirk really was.
5 - Inko telling the police about his quirk really hurt Izuku. He had never asked anything from her but Inko returning home just to reveal his quirk and his crime... It's the proof that she never loved him. AFO takes advantage of that.
