why i always end up doing random things and not the thing i actually needed to do, a thought process: i need to work on my personal statement, but my desk is messy so i’ll just clean up my desk a bit, i see my journal and open a blank page and jot some things done but it ends up being a page and a half then i realize i need to make a list, a list of things i need to pack for next week, but then i’m on the floor looking at books i took from my high school library bc they were giving it away for free, and then i see my box of random stationary stuff and find some keychains so i go on instagram that only has 5 followers bc it’s my sisters’ accounts that follow me and i post on my story which key chain i should put on my backpack, i also went looking for my backpack and it i find my blue scrunchie i was looking for since sunday, and now i’m moving my box of highlighters on my desk ones i haven’t opened yet bc they’re expensive and a weird part of me is like i need to preserve these and never open or use them!, and i find that so irritating that i need to write abt it in my journal, now i’m on tumblr typing it all up bc truly this is silly and ridiculous and i need to work on the thing i actually needed to get done today!!
