Leonardo da Vinci; A Life in Drawing : The Royal Collection Trust at Derby Museum & Art Gallery

Next year marks the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death and to celebrate this The Royal Collection Trust has a National exhibition of 144 of Leonardo's drawings at 12 spaces Nationally. I have been commissioned to be the Artist in Residence for the Leonardo exhibition that will be at Derby Museum & Art Gallery. My installation will be responding to the extraordinary anatomical elements of Leonardo's work and scientific objects in the Museum's collection, creating large scale intricate evolved anatomical beings that are inspired by Leonardo's daring to dream that in drawing, anything is possible and could happen in the future.
