I was feeling bit sad finishing the insight. I will miss these sessions, which allowed me to learn more about architecture and see other students visions on the same field. The insight being online, allowed me to attend the sessions, if it would have been in person, like the other years, I wouldn’t have make it. I am really grateful for the opportunity I had, and I will try to bring the thing I learned with me in university.

Portfolio tips.

Besides the tips from our feedbacks, they showed us one of the tutors portfolio, as he is in the first year of BA and did the application last year, which could help us building our final one.

This was our last week on the Autumn/Winter Architecture Insight, we had a recap on similar points from last weeks interview reviews. They gave us tips on how to answer some questions and what should we ask too.

Feedback on the practice presentation and portfolio. I have the recording and the audio of the interview, however you can’t post files too big, and my recording is over 10 minutes each. It wasn’t much of a help, because I already knew the questions he told me to think about, and I even had the answers to them too. I was really nervous, specially because I had only 10 minutes. As I was presenting I kind of forgot many things, and even ran over the 5 minutes of presentation, and only got told it was nice and should add more process. I wanted to get review more in depth, so I asked one of the tutors to see it after the interview, which helped more.

Practice interview session. We went in alphabetic order by our name and had 10 minutes each to present. When it was our time, we were given a link to a separate room in Collaborate, where the interviewer was with two other tutors from our session, which were taking notes for us. The rest were in the main room with the other two tutors asking questions about anything.
